In the 16th century, this plot was named \u201cLa Closerie de la Folli\u00e8re\u201d and belonged to the Saint Gatien Cathedral in Tours, then renamed \u201cClos de L\u2019Etoile\u201d in reference to the castle of the same name. Due to its limestone-rich soil, it was nicknamed \u201cClos de la Roche Vouvray\u201d in the 20th century.” <\/p>

This 0.80-hectare plot, facing southwest (setting sun) and located on a slope extending from the Clos, benefits from a \u201cmicroclimate\u201d that allows the grapes to ripen early. Uprooted after World War II, this vineyard was replanted in 2012 on this Aubuis terroir, typical of the Vouvray AOC. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
