Le Clos
Le Clos
“Le Clos” is a 2.30-hectare plot surrounded by walls built in the 16th century and adjacent to an old castle that is part of the same locality.
As its name suggests, this enclosure symbolized a boundary to prevent thieves or predators from accessing the precious grapes.
The 60-year-old vines are located on the first slopes facing west towards the Brenne valley. The shallow clay-limestone soil gives the wine density and structure, with great aging potential.
