Le Peu Morier
Le Peu Morier
This single plot wine takes its name from the Old French word “peu,” meaning “small hill,” and the word “mûrier” meaning “blackberry tree” (which became “morier” in spoken French).
In the 15th century, the cultivation of this fruit tree enabled the breeding of silkworms (or Bombyx mori), making Touraine the cradle of French sericulture.
